We will E-mail you a scan only of a sewn out patch for your approval, after the order is placed.  Sorry but we DO NOT give you the sample patch it is emailed ONLY.  If you would like a scan of the patch before the order is placed, the cost is 90.00.  That fee is non-refundable, but will be added toward your patch purchase if you decide to order.

Guidelines for new designs

Below is a brief description of an effective method for creating embroidery designs.

List all lettering you may want on the design.  This would include the title of your organization, important dates, an event name, etc.

Sketch the design that you want for your design.  Either trace around something of the correct size or measure to your own specifications, but the key here is to make the outline the exact size you want the final design.  Then draw a second line 1/8" inside this outline to represent a stitched border around the design.

Place the lettering in the appropriate location inside the outline.  Lettering should be 1/4" high and spaced accordingly.  We have a standard block letter that has been perfected to give the best results with embroidery.  If you want script or customized style lettering, allow extra space.

Place any graphics, symbols or other pictures in the design.  Be careful not to condense a large scale work of art into a few square inches.
